Day 1 Tokyo Arrival

Our staff will waiting you at the arrival hall of airport, and then move to downtown for hotel check in. Free at leisure for the
rest of day.

Day 2 Tokyo

A sightseeing tour around Tokyo. Meiji Shrine– is a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. National Diet Building (drive-by), East Gardens of the Imperial Palace– They are the former site of Edo Castle’s innermost circles of defense, the honmaru (“main circle”) and ninomaru (“secondary circle”). Senso-ji Temple– is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. It is one of Tokyo’s most colorful and popular temples. & Nakamise Shopping Street – is the best place in Tokyo to buy souvenirs., Ginza (drive-by), Tokyo Bay Cruise , Odaiba Seaside – Enjoy a walk on the quiet beach, feeling the gentle sea breeze.

Day 3 Tokyo – Mt. Fuji – Kyoto

Move to Mt. Fuji, head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. Go for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi – is known for its views of Mt. Fuji, its numerous hot springs, historical sites, and ryokan. Mt. Komagatake Ropeway – This is an 1800-meter ropeway which extends from Hakone-en Garden to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. Go to Kyoto by Hikari or Kodama Shinkansen

Day 4 Kyotot – Takayama

Take a train to Takayama via Nagoya train station. enjoy a free evening exploring Takayama at your leisure. We will recommend sites to visit depending on your interests.

Day 5 Takayama – Shirakawa-go

Your local guide will walk you thru the historic 16th century castle town. Encounter the true Japanese spirit visiting historic sites such the old private houses, the Miyagawa morning market, the Higashiyama Temples, the Hida Folk museum and a former samurai house boasting interesting secret passageways and an old well in the courtyard. Enjoy Japanese tea and rice crackers at the folk craft museum, and taste traditional sake from the local sake brewery. After lunch travel to the remote village of Shirakawa-go.

Shirakawa-go is famous for it’s thatch-roofed Gassho-style homes which have been pretected from the outside world for centuries, preserving a unique traditional way of life. This historic village is registered as world cultural heritage of UNESCO. Enjoy the scenery from the Ogimachi Joseki Observatory, offering a magnificent view of the entire village. Stroll thru the historic village, where people still live to this very day and step inside the Wada house for a glimpse into the past. Some of the homes are over 400 years old making the site a national treasure which holds a special place in the heart of Japan. After a full day of culture return to Takayama by bus.
