Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Your private tour guide will be holding a board with your name and waiting you at airport arrival hall, and then transfer to downtown hotel by Private air-conditional vehicle. Free on your own for the rest of day.

Tiananmen Square: Located at the center of Beijing City and the midpoint of Chang’an Avenue is the remarkable Tiananmen Square, where you can visit the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People’s Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Forbidden City: was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty—the years 1420 to 1912. Hutong Rickshaw Ride: hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences.[1] Many neighbourhoods were formed by joining one siheyuan to another to form a hutong, and then joining one hutong to another. Badaling Great Wall: Being the ancient military defence project, Great Wall is symbol and proud of China. Badaling Great Wall is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall partly because it is close to Beijing city and connected with urban area by expressway. Cloisonné, Chang Ling: the tomb of the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Zhu Di and Empress Xu. Among the 16 emperors of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Zhu Di (1360-1424), also honored as Emperor Yongle, made the greatest contribution to the country and had the most far-reaching impact on history., sacred road: was originally built to lead to the Changling mausoleum. It was considered to be the road leading to heaven.

Day 4 Beijing

Temple of Heaven(we can see the local people morning exercise, also you can enjoy with them and have opportunity for Tai Ji lesson), It is the largest and most representative existing masterpiece among China’s ancient sacrificial buildings. First built in 1420, the 18th year of the reign of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644), it was enlarged and rebuilt during the reigns of the Ming emperor Jiajing and the Qing emperor Qianlong. In 1988, it was opened to the public as a park, showing ancient philosophy, history and religion. Its grand architectural style and profound cultural connotation give an insight into the practices of the ancient Eastern civilization. Summer Palace: Being the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, it greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as ‘The Museum of Royal Gardens’.

Day 5 Beijing-Xian

Private van move to Beijing train station, Bullet train transfer to Xian(business class, tickets included), private car pick up at Xian train station.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda: is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City, about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) from the downtown of the city. Standing in the Da Ci’en Temple complex, it attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion and its simple but appealing style of construction. Xi’an Art Ceramics Factory, Terracotta Worrier: is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

Day 8 Chengdu

Panda Breeding and Research Center: has been created and imitated the natural habitat of giant pandas in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. The giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but are also beloved by people the world over.  Wuhou Memorial Temple: is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Liang was the personification of noble character and intelligence. Memorial architectures erected in many places after his death include a famous one in Chendu. Jinli Old Street: Chengdu is a city brimming with a strong leisurely ambience with Jinli Street as the typical representative. the most famous place for baldachin – a rich, ornate cloth. And it was one of the busiest commercial areas during the Shu Kingdom.

Day 9 Chengdu – Chongqing- Yangtze Cruise

Sanxingdui Museum: is a cultural relic of the ancient Shu (Sichuan). It is an important archeological discovery which changed the people’s understanding of ancient history and culture. If you want to visit a place to know more about Chinese Shu (Sichuan) culture, make it this one, for the civilization shown by the cultural relics can be called a true wonder.  then take a train trip to Chongping, and then escorted you to cruise dock for Yangtze cruise check in.

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise: Shibaozhai

Enjoy the scenery of riverbanks passing by during the leisurely morning. In the afternoon, a short visit to Shibaozhai — a magnificent red pavilion providing a walkway to the top of a solitary hill — allows for spectacular views of the area. An optional tour to Fengdu Ghost City awaits those who are interested in mystical matters. 

A welcome banquet and party ends the day, while you glide along the glistening river.

Day 11 Yangtze Cruise : Gorges and Shennong Stream

Qutang and Wu Gorge, two of the magnificent three gorges, , are passed through this morning, so be ready with a camera. The wonder of engineering, the vast ship locks, and the majesty of nature present themselves to you as you sit back and relax.

The afternoon is dedicated to visiting Shennong Stream, which has rushing waterfalls and an ancient plank path leading to suspended coffins in a cliff. You also have the option of visiting White Emperor City.

In the evening, the ship’s crew will present a performance for your entertainment.

Day 12 The Three Gorges Dam and Flight to Shanghai

The Three Gorges Dam is the highlight of the day, and a visit to the top of the dam gives you some great photo opportunities. Seeing is believing, and you will learn more about the world’s biggest hydroelectric project. After arriving in Yichang, you will be taken to the airport for a transfer flight to Shanghai.

Yuyuan Gardens: was a private garden of the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. It was the largest and most prestigious of its era in Shanghai after it was completed. The Bund: The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai. Building heights are restricted in the area. Huangpu River Cruise. and Nanjing Road: is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, and is one of the world’s busiest shopping streets.
